IDM Installation & Fix Guide

  1. Install Internet Download Manager (IDM)
    Install to the default directory: C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Download Manager

  2. Exit IDM Completely
    - Right-click the IDM icon in the system tray and choose "Exit"
    - Open Task Manager and make sure no IDM process (e.g., IDMan.exe) is running

  3. Apply the Fix
    - Open the Fix folder
    - Copy ALL files into: C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Download Manager
    - Overwrite when prompted

  4. Apply Registry Data
    - Double-click Regdata.reg in the Fix folder
    - Confirm to add it to the Windows Registry

  5. Start IDM
    Launch IDM normally. It should now be activated.

Note:
If you still see a "Fake Serial Number" error, run:
IDM Protection Key Cleaner (in the Fix folder)
